Frequently Asked Questions
Commenly asked questions and answers. Feel free to contact us with additional questions.
How do you handle aggressive or anxious dogs?
Safety is always our top priority—for your dog, our walkers, and others in the community. We assess each dog’s behavior individually and proceed with care, patience, and clear boundaries. If a dog shows signs of aggression or extreme anxiety, we may recommend professional dog training before beginning regular walks. A well-trained dog benefits most from our services, and training lays the foundation for a safe and positive experience for everyone involved. Casey has first-hand experience working with dogs who have a history of abuse, and understands how important it is to read their body language and respect their boundaries. Building trust takes time, but it’s the key to forming a strong and positive relationship between the walker and the dog.
What happens in case of an emergency?
In the event of an emergency, we act quickly and responsibly. We will first assess the situation and ensure your pet is safe. You will be contacted immediately using your preferred method of communication. If necessary, we will transport your pet to your designated veterinarian or the nearest available clinic. We always keep emergency contacts and medical information on file to respond as efficiently as possible.
How do I pay for Services?
Invoices are sent via email every Monday for services provided the previous week. Clients have 10 days from the invoice date to submit payment. You can pay manually using the card on file, or it will automatically be charged on the invoice due date. Tips can also be added manually or set to process automatically through a percentage you choose.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We make every effort to continue scheduled walks regardless of the weather. Light rain, snow, or cold won’t stop us, we just dress accordingly and adjust the walk as needed for safety. If the weather is too extreme for a walk, we will still ensure your dog gets a potty break and will spend the remaining visit enjoying playtime indoors. In severely extreme conditions (such as dangerous storms, blizzards, or extreme heat), we may need to shorten, reschedule, or cancel for the safety of your pet and our walkers. However, cancellations are rare and only made when absolutely necessary.
Do you walk multiple dogs at once?
No, we do not group dogs from different households. Each walk is individualized to ensure your dog gets our full attention and stays safe. If multiple dogs are in the same home, we aim to walk them together. However, if it becomes a safety concern for the dogs or the walker, such as
excessive pulling or behavioral issues, we will walk them separately to ensure everyone’s well-being
